Shore Excursions

Many cruise liners visit Scotland’s shores. With our informative full-day tours, we meet you at the quayside, take you on a varied and informative tour of your choice, and return you in time to sail to your onward port.

Greenock Tour: Duration – 8 hours

World-famous ship-building on the River Clyde…Trossachs National Park…Ben Lomond and the heritage village of Luss…a stroll along the banks of Loch Lomond…Arrochar and “Rest And Be Thankful” in Argyll…lunch at Loch Fyne…Inveraray, the seat of the Duke of Argyll…Inveraray’s Georgian Jail and the Woolen Mill. The return journey (time permitting) takes in the Real Food cafe in the Highland village of Tyndrum (try one of Scotland’s finest fish suppers here!) then Crianlarich and Loch Lomond’s northern shore on the return to Greenock.

South Queensferry Tour: Duration – 8 hours

This day tour covers Edinburgh’s most famous landmarks…Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, St. Giles Cathedral, the National Museum of Scotland, the Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the Queen in Scotland. There’s time to explore the sites, do some shopping and enjoy locally sourced home-made cooking at the Cafe at the Palace. With time on our side, sample “The Edinburgh Malt” at Glenkinchie Distillery, set in East Lothian’s rolling farmlands, before exploring the 15th century Rosslyn Chapel, the now world-famous setting of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code.
